Treat yourself or your friends to the gift of poetry! This month we introduce a new monthly feature, the Book Fair pages where members of the OutlawPoets can display their craft in a published book. The books displayed in this segment of Sketchbook make wonderful gifts for poetry fans, bibliophiles, and yourself.

We hope that you will patronize these writers and purchase their books. If you have a book to sell please send the publishing information to Karina@poetrywriting.org. Subject: Book Fair + your name.

Blue ribbons to each of the fifteen OutlawPoets who participated in the first Sketchbook kukai; the results appear in this issue.

Fifteen poets submitted eighty-four haiku. All fifteen poets also participated in the voting! The results are tabulated below.

The kigo for the November kukai was November rain or early winter.

The kigo for the December issue is “outerwear” meaning the garments humans wear. Rita Odeh will shepherd this monthly feature.

A big thank you to every writer and artist who contributed to the November issue. Without your contributions there would be no e-zine.

Now, I am going to sit down for a while and read the November 2006 Sketchbook!
