Valentine's dawn
two lines of footprints
in the fresh snow
streetlamp
snowflakes' shadows
so grey
morning love
the blizzard intensifies
outside my window
deserted park
naked trees
full of crows
insomnia
the moonlight
filters through curtains
river swelling
he loosens the belt
on his trousers
street mime
the weight of an unseen bird
on his hand
sunset—
snowdrifts beside the house
change colour
winter solstice
the whistle of a blackbird
through the misty air
home again
height marks of my children
faded
autistic boy—
an unending snowstorm
in the glass ball
thaw
a chirp of sparrows seeps
through my window
